RACE MARE: Shekels of Gold.(NZ).DOB.23-8-2007. Sire-Volksraad. Dam-Dosh.(Danske). Nice mare, lightly raced, still a maiden galloper. Puts in and works really well in her morning track work, eats well, no health issues, fit, sound. Only had 3 starts since coming to S.A. Would be ideal in a small stable to give a bit more one on one attention, suit owner/trainer. A change in training may turn this mare around. Beach work, swimming etc.Ran 5th to Jimmy Choux, 4th to Cellarmaster in the Wakeful Challenge Stakes in NZ(G2). Won trial at Randwick under Gai Waterhouse.
