Conformation: Excellent. Still rump high as he still has a little growing to do. He has clydie feathers and in winter had ‘grandpa whiskers’.
Personality: Purchased as a weanling, Barney was chosen for his temperament and his potential. He is growing into a strong, heavier type - throwing to his Dad. He has been paddocked both alone and with other horses, but has never been on a property on his own. You will need to spend a small amount of time gaining his trust, but once you have he will have a go at anything for you.
Education: He is very willing and trainable with a wonderful, sensible attitude to everything.
He has been thoroughly and patiently taught to lead and tie up, is very respectful of his handlers space and will move off fingertip pressure on his shoulders and rump. He is great to float, worm and for the farrier - he has regular 12 weekly trims. He is familiar with dogs, tractors, chainsaws, alpacas, wheelbarrows and quad bikes.
