Shetland Pony Gelding : **Rawhiti Park Megabucks** 'Patch' is a 9yr old piebald Shetland gelding, 10hh, broken as a lead pony and recently broken into harness. He is registered both APSB and Pinto and was shown as a youngster in Pinto. He has a lovely temperament but can be quite strong and cheeky at times so does require a firm hand. He is a good doer and can live off the smell of an oily rag but will always be looking for food! Patch will come to you no problem. He is very easy to catch, worm, have feet and teeth done and he walks straight onto the float and travels fine. (He'll come inside your house if you let him!) He is easy to tack up and he lunges well. He is good to tie up, have the kids fuss over him, brush him and walk around him. He's also used to dogs barking and running around. I have used him to lead my children around with but he is not trained off the lead. He has also recently been broken into harness but will need more work to keep up his education. Unfortunately due to lack of time and an interest in returning to a riding horse I have had to make the hard decision to put Patch up for sale as my property won't accommodate two horses. Currently in fat paddock condition! Sold with saddle and bridle or can negotiate without. $1300 to the best of homes only.
