Selectively chosen for FEI Para Equestrian 2.5 years ago for his phenomenal temperament, bold persona and three extraordinary gaits. Prior to his exportation to Australia Celere was intensively campaigned winning at gold level medium and training advanced in Europe with professional dressage rider. Celere made his Australian debut at the prestigious SYDNEY CDI and was awarded Reserve Champion FEI Para Grade II

Celere carries true to type characteristics of the Lusitano horse. With the power, bone and extraordinary gaits. Not to mention his pedigree comes from a long line of reputable horses. Celere is half brother to Vietkong - a Purebred Lusitano stallion who was campaigned by Former Olympian Juan Antonio Jimenez’. An online magazine said he was ‘a horse which has an expressive passage and piaffe’.


The Sire ‘Estoiro’ - One of only 8 Lusitano stallions in the world to be awarded merit by the Portuguese Association for breeding; Estoiro has offspring with medals of gold and silver in morphology and movement, also excellent ratings in tests of dressage.

The Grand Sire (Sires side): ‘Zico’ - Was imported by "Las Morerías" from Portugal in 1993, purchased by Joao I. Barata Freixo from the famous Vinhas stud farm as a 2 year old, and for a decade stood for his stud mares. In Portugal, Zico produced over 200 outstanding offspring. He won various prizes in Portugal and Mexico.

The Grand Sire (Dams side): ‘Xaquiro’ is one of the most important stallions of the breed. Proven by the countless successes of his progeny. He was primarily famous as a dressage stallion with outstanding movements and was approved with the outstanding mark of 80 points. His progeny excel through their high commitment, will to work and suitability for dressage. Main characteristics of his progeny are the expressive head and elastic, extensive movements. Xaquiro is a merited stallion by the Portuguese Association for breeding.
