Dressage Schoolmaster: Offering Free to excellent home, my mare who was competing 10 yrs ago in Prix St George training Inter 1 (with Dr Kerry Mack at Mayfield farms) she has now finished her mummy stage of life , as she can no longer have foals (my foal is her last)and my riding confidence levels are now not enough any more to bring her back under saddle myself. This mares temperament, easy laid back can do anything attitude is the reason I am offering her to a more experienced confident rider to bring back under saddle and use as a school master. As she was competing Prix St George she can only come back for EA comps (or so I have been advised) to 2 levels below, so Med, I need a horse that can commence at Prelim and build me up again (yes my nerves are that bad due to a series of TB's, prior to me redirecting to Warmbloods). This competition rule is another reason I wont employ someone to bring her back under saddle for me, as I want to be out there competing and she will be too high a competitive level for me to start out at, We live in Tasmania so we don't have adult riding clubs like on the mainland so theres no realistic competitive alternative.
I do have her AWA reg papers, and you can look her up on ACE and Allbreed pedigree(funny thing is she was registered initially under the stud name Baxters RR and her EA name also features on allbreed pedigree but it is the same horse EA name is Mayfield Imagine) She is out of Rocadero and a Northern Commander I mare, she is rising 24 this year and is an excellent doer in excellent health with no soundness issues(apart form no longer being able to breed her girly bits after my foal were getting wee in there, so she has had a caslick), she runs on an oily rag, she has had her teeth done 2 1/2 months ago now, and feet done every 6-8 weeks cycle, wormed on a 3 mth cycle and annual strangles/tetanus vacs, she also had the chiro out to see her when she first arrived with me as I wanted to ensure she would be fine to put back under saddle, she got the all clear and after we got the all clear thats when I was told about the competition rule. Honestly if I had the confidence and ability to start competing at medium I would not be considering rehoming her, Naturally I have no videos of her under saddle, as I believe this mare is more than capable of returning under saddle with a experienced person I am also willing to assist with transport to Melbourne for her. Please note there no first in best dressed given away rules, she is part of our family and have so much more to offer the right person,
