Black Hanoverian Gelding: HH Don Archer is a tall, black four year old, rising five Hanoverian gelding that has just returned to work. He was allowed time to grow into his large size out in the open fields for optimum bone health. Date of birth: Dec 10, 2012.

New photos and video will be uploaded this weekend with Melanie Campbell riding Don Archer.

HH Don Archer has 3 good basic gaits and a lovely disposition. He is a willing worker, learns quickly and remembers what he is supposed to do in the arena and around his handlers. He is respectful to other horses and gives way rather than demands to stand his ground when in a group. He is calm in his surroundings and does not react, but waits and looks and thinks when working.

Archer is tall and black with 4 white socks and feet, with a white star on his forehead.

Sire Don Dancier is a 2007 black premium licensed and performance tested Hanoverian stallion. Don Dancier is sired by the most popular son of De Niro, Dancier, who was a Hanoverian Licensing Champion and a performance test winner.

Since arriving in Australia, Don Dancier has quickly climbed through the grades and is now consistently scoring over 70% at Advanced level dressage, a testament to his ride-ability and train-ability. Deon Stokes has partnered well with Donnie and they work well together during dressage competitions.

Daktylus (imp) by the black Hanoverian stallion, Diskus, gives a little bit of jumping blood to the mix along with the refining stallion, Prince Thatch xx in the mare line of Don Archer.

Harrier Hill Don Archer is able to be viewed in Lochinvar, NSW at the NSW Equestrian Centre. He is in training with the talented young horse rider, Melanie Campbell. Melanie has recently returned from working for the Hannoveraner Verband as an auction rider. She has worked for HHSA as test rider during the Sydney CDI in 2016 and was asked to return for the 2017 event. HHSA is working with Campbell Dressage to show the world what Hanoverians can do in the arena. Other horses are available. For more information go to or find us on facebook at Harrier Hill. You can find Hanoverian Horse information at or on fb Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia, inc.
