Talented, beautiful grandson of Don Federico

Talented, beautiful grandson of Don Federico: Don Merillion (Richie) is 5yrs, mature 16HH and a gorgeous seal brown. He is by the NSW stallion Don de Sandro out of a very lovely Richmead Medallion/Souvenir mare. Don de Sandro is now competing at Grand Prix.
Richie is not only from a line of Grand Prix champions but displays the attributes Charlotte Dujardin says she looks for in a young potential top dressage prospect. He has a super over-tracking walk and a lovely special uphill canter, (pirouettes will be easy). The trot has that rare natural tact/cadence and is very elegant. Best of all is his temperament, he is brave, confident , forward going but not hot. He loves attention and learns quickly, currently starting elementary movement training. He was started late 2016 by AEBC, bought on slowly, spelled over winter and has since been out and about to various indoors for training and rider lessons with lots of farm paddock rides.
This is a genuine, high quality, uncomplicated horse, looking for that special someone to have fun with on the journey to Grand Prix. Through no fault of his own Richie is still available, would really suit a talented younger rider wanting a fun horse to take out and about.
