Geurie Campdraft had the cash up last weekend. With $64,000 in money and trophies up for grabs, Tamworth’s Julie Heineke took home her fair share. With great success leading into the big event, a punter would have had to put their money on Tamworth’s leading lady Julie Heineke. Yandoo Equestrian Services, in Association with Equestrian NSW, presents the Showcase of Showjumping (SOS) this weekend at the stunning Sydney Polo Club in Richmond. The SOS weekend has been designed with spectators in mind. There will be tents and seating placed on all four edges of the competition arenas. Spectator participation will be maximized with raffles, lucky door prizes and a unique opportunity to be represented by each rider as they jump their round. The Young Horse competitions are always great to watch, especially at a CDI. It gives the riders and owners a chance to see how their horse rates in regards to movement, rideability and confirmation. Camilla Enemark, the 31-year-old Danish Jumping rider, passed away on Tuesday (10 April) after losing her battle against an aggressive brain tumour first diagnosed in 2006.
