Gunalda and District Western Performance Club - Half Price Stallion Services

There are still several half price services available to good quality stallions through the Gunalda and District Western Performance Club (G&DWPC). There are also still a few spaces for extra stallions who wish to be included. American Dressage riders swept all before them when returning a record-breaking fourth consecutive team victory and filling all the steps of the individual medal podium at the 2011 Pan-American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. The race that stops a nation is fast approaching and Moggill Pony Club was called upon to lend a hand to promote Melbourne Cup celebrations in Brisbane City. A horse and jockey was needed for a photo shoot, and eight year old Georgia Rink answered the call. Statement issued by FEI on 19 October 2011: The FEI has never, and will never, allow any horse with blood anywhere on its body to remain in the Dressage arena. As the current Dressage rules are not specific on the issue of blood, the FEI Dressage Committee, in June of this year, proposed a new rule clarifying that Dressage tests would be stopped immediately if blood appears anywhere on the horse in the arena. Leanne Bartlett has been involved with horses her whole life, she started out showing Appaloosas as a youth and has progressed from there to achieve success across all the western performance events. Based at Canungra in South East Qld, Leanne has trained and competed successfully with Appaloosas, Paints and Quarter Horses at State and National level in all western events, as well as coaching riders and conducting clinics. A Coffs Harbour mare, named Harriet, got into strife yesterday when she decided to take a short cut across a creek on a Bonville property. The distressed horse became stuck in mud and weeds and couldn't get out on her own. Luckily the Coffs Harbour State Emergency Service crews, who had received training for such situations, came to her rescue and were able to pull Harriet out of the deep pond. ...

World Champs team-mates Maurice Beatson and Katie McVean will start as hot favourites in the opening round of the Bomac World Cup New Zealand showjumping series in Hawke's Bay on Friday.
