Hawke's Bay teenager Pippa Huddleston got the surprise of her life at the 2011 NZ Horse of the Year Show when she found herself sharing a horse with top Kiwi rider Lucy Akers. Stephen Muggeridge took a step back in time when he set out for the 2011 New Zealand Horse of the Year Show – much to the delight of many. The school bus driver opted trade his usual mode of transport for his team of Clydesdales. The pretty palomino horse who captured the hearts of the nation after being found with wood preservative splashed on his face, will compete in at the 2011 New Zealand Horse of the Year Show.
