212 Lots To Be Offered at the Inglis Sale in Sydney On Sunday

212 lots that make up the Inglis Sydney Classic Yearling Sale Winter Book and Sydney Winter Thoroughbred Sale have been catalogued to go under the hammer at Newmarket this Sunday 15 June 2014.

Both catalogues are also available for download on the market leading Inglis Sales iPad App.

Yearlings by Teofilo and Encosta de Lago, the sires of recent Group 1 winners Sonntag and Smokin’ Joey, are among the supplementary entries for the Classic Yearling Winter Book.

Other sires of Group 1 winners in Australia this season that are represented in the Winter Book include Al Maher, Authorized, Bernardini, California Dane, Choisir, Commands, Dane Shadow, Exceed And Excel, High Chaparral, Mossman, Myboycharlie, Redoute’s Choice, Sebring and Snitzel.

There is also a wide range of first and second season sires represented and 85% of all yearlings set to be offered on Sunday are BOBS eligible. ALL yearlings offered are additionally eligible for entry into the $5 million Inglis Race Series.

The majority of vendors will be arriving with their Winter Book yearlings tomorrow and Friday. The full parade schedule for prospective buyers is available HERE

Selling on Sunday will begin at 11am with the 159 lots in the Classic Yearling Sale Winter Book.

These will be followed immediately in the afternoon by the 53 lots catalogued for the Sydney Winter Thoroughbred Sale, covering broodmares, unbroken stock, race fillies and other racing stock.

Highlights entries in the mixed bloodstock sale include Group 2 winning broodmare Basra, Wyong Gold Cup winner Wazn, plus mares in foal to Snitzel, Not A Single Doubt and Your Song.

Inglis’ Online BiddingMake-An-Offer and Sale Day Live services will be available on Sunday.

To ensure applications to bid online can be processed it is advisable to request bidding approval by 5.00pm Thursday 12 June 2014.

Online bidders are encouraged to physically inspect horses before bidding online, however the Inglis Bloodstock Team are available to conduct inspections and can also arrange vet checks at your request.
