The Tamworth District Western Performance and Appaloosa Club has advised that due to the amount of rain over the last few weeks, the Management of AELEC and Tamworth Regional Council have put the MOSCOW CIRCUS into the Selling Complex of the AELEC centre. The Committee has inspected the venue and due to the nature of some of the circus acts including Wall of Death with motorbikes and a human cannon ball plus the restricted access to the main arena, it is not in the safe or in the best interests of contestants to hold the show at this time. ... Paula Mussen left several more fancied combinations in her wake as she steered Meersbrooke Flintstone to victory in the horse grand prix at the one star Showjumping Waitamata Show at Woodhill Sands today (Sunday).
