In 2011 the Equestrian Australia Sport Achievement Awards took on a grand new style, which included a gala evening held at ANZ Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park. The evening featured pre-dinner drinks, a beautiful three course meal and great music, which provided a fantastic night of partying for all in attendance. 25 Dead Ponies Dumped Near New England Highway

A tip-off led Northern NSW Police to the bodies of 25 dead ponies about 1.00pm on Saturday. The ponies were dumped off a cliff close to the New England Highway, located near a truck parking bay between Glen Innes and Armidale. Police say there were no obvious signs of injury and no identifying marks or brands to help locate an owner for the dead animals....
