The Dancing Horse Spring Championships are being held this weekend, 29-30 September at Boneo Park, Boneo, Victoria. It was sweet success for Marco Fuste’s Spanish side today when they snatched victory from Sweden in the closing moments of the 2012 FEI Nations Cup™ Promotional League Final on home turf in Barcelona. Just twelve months ago the host nation had to settle for runner-up spot when newly-crowned FEI European Champion, Rolf-Goran Bengtsson, gave Sweden the edge.... Dixon, Illinois (USA) took center stage Sunday, with an auction for the history books. Former Comptroller, Rita Crundwell's world re-owned quarter horses were auctioned off. Crundwell is accused of stealing 53 million dollars from the city. The stage is set for a fight to the finish in Abu Dhabi with three riders in contention for the 2012 championship after a dramatic night of show jumping at GCT’s debut in Vienna. The 11th leg of the Global Champions Tour delivered a Grand Prix packed with surprises and left Edwina Tops-Alexander and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (pictured right) on equal points in the GCT ranking - but with Edwina still leading due to her win in Doha at the start of the season. Tom McDermott is the 2012 Senior and Young Rider Australian Show Jumping Champion.
