Congratulations to Chris Burton and Kinnordy Rivaldo on winning the Hartpury International Horse Trials CIC*** in the UK at the weekend, with a score of 38.9. Kiwi Andrew Nicholson was back on the podium just days after winning Olympic bronze, picking up a second on board Avebury. The Kiwi combination finished on their 41.5 point dressage score....

Another perfect Queensland day for Ekka! Breed classes dominated with everything from Miniature, Shetland, Australian and Riding Ponies through to Clydesdales, Shires and Percherons strutting their stuff in the main ring. Pictured is Australian Pony Amaranda Glamour. Harness horses were also a highlight with turnout classes and the Parade of Light Horse Drawn vehicles finishing off the ring programme for today.... One of New Zealand’s two equestrian representatives at the fast-approaching London Paralympics has just had a brilliant result in the UK. Rachel Stock and Bates Rimini Park Emmerich have notched a convincing win in the elementary section of the British Dressage Regional Championships in Surrey this morning, finishing more than two percent ahead of second place....

Greenwich Park didn't provide the dream ending Edwina Tops-Alexander had hoped for today, after two rails down in the final round of the jumping pushed her out of medal contention. The former Sydney rider was a medal hope for the Aussies in the equestrian, but after one rail down in the first round and two in the second round, her Olympic medal aspirations were over....
