This year's Qld Festival of Dressage, being held at QSEC on 21 July, is an exceptional event not to be missed by all fans of the sport! Ever one for extravagance, Katie Price has celebrated the launch of her latest novel in style, by riding in on a gorgeous black Andalusian-type horse, wearing an elaborate showgirl style costume! The Barbury Castle International Horse Trials in the UK this weekend are the last chance for any would-be Olympians to impress the New Zealand eventing selectors. Twelve New Zealand combinations are entered including Mark Todd, Clarke Johnstone, Andrew Nicholson, Jonathan Paget and Lucy Jackson, who will be hoping they’ve already done enough to make that all-important five-strong team for the London Olympics but a strong showing this weekend can cement a place.... The Australian Appaloosa Breeders Association is running a Stallion Service Raffle, where the winner recieves a FREE service to their choice of stallion from the list OR a 50" flat screen TV. The second chance draw winner will receive a half price service to their choice of stallion from the list OR a HD Blu-Ray recorder. Tickets are $20 each or three for $50 and the raffle will be drawn at 4.00pm on 31 July 2012. There are only 500 tickets available in total so get in quick!...
