Another Example of Why You Should Always Wear a Helmet
Many of us become complacent about wearing a helmet when riding our educated horse, on a good surface at home or out and about, especially western or stock horse riders.
It doesn't matter if your horse is quiet, the surface is good and you're not attempting daredevil stunts, disaster can still strike!
Check out this video that was shared on the Riders4Helmets website, showing a rider having a lovely ride on her calm horse, cantering around a nice type of arena and yet they still came to grief. Luckily, due to the fact she was wearing a helmet, the rider, who did break her arm, was not more seriously injured.
Remember, it's better to wreck your hair than your head!
