AWHA QLD & IHB 2015 State Championships and Frozen Semen Raffle!

The AWHA Queensland Branch is conducting their annual show on Saturday 20th June 2015 in the indoor arena at Gatton Showgrounds. Open classes are on the schedule for horses registered with an association such as the AWHA Ltd, ACE Group, HHSA, HHAA, ISSA or TA Inc. Horses competing in Open Classes must have a minimum of 25% Warmblood breeding in their pedigree. Proof of registration is required with entry. 

AWHA Ltd registered horses can compete in both the AWHA Ltd and Open classes. You do not need to be a member to enter the AWHA QLD & IHB 2015 State Championships. Further information regarding the show can be found on the Facebook event page with the relevant forms available via the AWHA Ltd website.

Entries close on Friday 5th June 2015. Entry fees are $15 for the first class entered and $10 for every class thereafter. Generous prize money is on offer, totalling $3,780! If you wish to join the AWHA Ltd, a special membership offer is currently available, giving membership through to 31st August 2016. For Queensland people who wish to join the AWHA Ltd on the day of the show, the AWHA QLD Branch will waive the joining fee valued at $25. Payment must be made by cheque or cash on the day to receive this special offer. Each new membership includes one free transfer of an existing AWHA Ltd registered horse valued at $40!

The committee will also be raffling two doses of imported frozen semen valued at $1,256 courtesy of International Horse Breeders Pty Ltd to be drawn on the day of the show. Tickets are for sale for $10 each with multiple ticket purchases allowable. You do not need to be present for the draw in order to win the raffle.
