To end the day we had the Max Purdy Memorial Encouragement Draft which was a big part of our weekend as Max was a member of our committee who sadly passed away earlier this year. This was judged by Jim Hiscock and we were all very happy to see one of our own committee members Adrian Worrell take 1st place on Old Timer with a score of 85. Taking 2nd and 3rd place was Steven Colwell, 4th Kevin Watling and equal 5th Henry Elliot and Bill Green.

Our Saturday night meal was supplied by Gayle Clayton and volunteers and was a successful meal once again. Our Sunday program began with the Outback Security Services Maiden Draft judged by Paul Colwell which was won by Jim Hiscock of Coonamble riding Sisco with an 89, second Adam Sadler and Silver Acres on 88, equal third was Mark West and Spice, Nicole Green and Cora and Peter Garlick riding Wicked all with 86.

The Tracey Field Memorial Ladies judged by Paul Lunn was next to be run, Nicki Ingle and Alfie were the lucky pair to win, with Marina Colwell second, Fiona Jamieson third, Stacey Thomas forth and Jillian Kelly riding Special taking fifth place.

The jackpot Open for Open was the last of the weekends events, Graham Francisco as judge, Mick Ward and Butterfly took 1st place, 2nd John Hardie, 3rd Lachie Maxwell, 4th John Hardie and equal 5th Mark West, Lara Garlick, Luke Clarke, Lachie Maxwell and Mick Ward.

A good weekend was had by all and a very big thank you goes to all our cattle donors, sponsors, transport operators, kitchen hands and volunteers. Without the support of these people events like these cannot go ahead.
