HORSEZONE is the most cost-effective and innovative channel for selling sport and recreation horses and other equine items in Australia.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Marketing Manager. The successful applicant will have the ability to work effectively and efficiently within the HORSEZONE  team. This is a  maternity leave contract heading up the Marketing department reporting to the Business Manager located at Randwick, NSW.

Key responsibilities:

  • ­ Manage the advertising, promotions, sponsorship & graphic design
  • ­ Control the marketing & promotions budget
  • ­ Strategically design and implement promotional campaigns for HORSEZONE
  • ­ Develop and implement sales and marketing plans
  • ­ Work with HORSEZONE team to ensure key goals are met
  • ­ Work closely with the Communications Manager to develop strategies and processes for the use of social media to improve the public profile of HORSEZONE
  • Sales/customer service responsibilities
  • ­ Support marketing related activities and events
  • ­ Manage and maintain the HORSEZONE merchandise

The applicant should have:

  • ­ Previous marketing work experience
  • ­ Advanced computer skills (MS Office)
  • ­ A good understanding of internet based marketing and social media
  • ­ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ­ Strong attention to detail
  • ­ Good organisational skills
  • ­ Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • ­ Graphic design experience would be an advantage
  • ­ Industry knowledge would be an advantage
