Career Opportunity: Sales and Marketing Assistant with HORSEZONE!

HORSEZONE is Australia’s most cost-effective and innovative channel for selling performance and pleasure horses, horse transport, saddlery and other equine items. 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Sales and Marketing Assistant. The successful applicant will have the ability to work effectively and efficiently within the HORSEZONE team. This is a maternity leave contract assisting the Marketing and Sales departments reporting to the Business Manager and the Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities:

­- Assist the Marketing & Sales Departments with advertising, promotions, sponsorship & graphic design.
­- Design and send website banners
­- Develop concepts and designs for marketing material
­- Sales/customer service responsibilities
­- Support marketing related activities and events
­- Manage and maintain the HORSEZONE merchandise
­- Monitor the FY marketing, sponsorship & promotions budget
­- Travel to HORSEZONE events as and when required
­- Respond to client queries and requests

The applicant should have:

­- Advanced computer skills (MS Office, InDesign & Photoshop);
­- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
­- Strong attention to detail;
­- Good organisational skills;
­- Understanding of an online business;
­- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks;
­- Graphic design, marketing & Industry knowledge would be an advantage.
