Connemara Ponies Ready for BRAG Pony and Horse Sports Day: 28 April 2013

The Barwon Regional Action Group (BRAG) and Connemara Pony Breeders Society Australia (CPBSA) members are looking forward to this Sunday 28 April when BRAG will be holding their annual Pony and Horse Sports Day. 

Already this year there are eight purebred Connemara ponies entered.

Points are awarded from the different events and tallied at the end of the day for the ponies registered with the CPBSA for the Ballantrae Cup and also for the part-bred Connemara pony competing the Ben Dhui Trophy.

Having eight ponies entered is really wonderful and they look forward to competing in Dressage, Handy Mount, Working Hunter, Saddle Classes and also the Mountain and Moreland classes.

This event is not just for the Connemara pony - a little group of eight breeders run this open show for anyone to come along and have some fun.

No plaiting and jackets not essential, this is a fun day out with rings and classes to cater for all from the Topsy rider to the more enthusiastic!
