David Galvin Fundraiser Show this Weekend

This weekend, 27-28 November, the David Galvin Fundraising Show is being held at Burpengary Equestrian Centre. Along with many other businesses and members of the community, Horsezone is proud to be sponsoring these shows.

David, a firefighter who thought nothing of risking his life to help others, broke his neck almost a year ago in a freak accident, which made him a quadriplegic.

South East Queensland Appaloosa Club and Western Horse Forum decided to run this weekend’s shows to help raise funds for the purchase of a wheelchair friendly car for David.

So come along to the Burpengary Equestrian Centre where there will be Hack and Novelty Events on Saturday, a buffet dinner Saturday night followed by Dressage, Western Pleasure, Showmanship, Vaulting, Barrel Racing and Hunter in Hand demonstrations - something for every horse enthusiast!

On Sunday there will be a full Western Show, judged by Joanne Gregory.

It doesn’t matter what horse sport you're into, there’s something for everyone and you can helping raise money for an Aussie hero, while having heaps of fun!
