Day 20: Equestrian Australia
In 2011 the Equestrian Australia Sport Achievement Awards took on a grand new style, which included a gala evening held at ANZ Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park.
The evening featured pre-dinner drinks, a beautiful three course meal and great music, which provided a fantastic night of partying for all in attendance. It was a great opportunity for the best of the best to get together, celebrate their successes and have fun! Now Equestrian Australia are keen to carry on the tradition of this great night in 2012.
For the first time in the event’s history in 2011 the Equestrian Hall of Fame was introduced and awards were presented for many categories including EA Special Services, Event Volunteer of the Year, Official of the Year, Coach of the Year, Equestrian Domestic Athlete of the Year, Equestrian International Athlete of the Year, Domestic Horse of the Year, International Horse of the Year, Owner of the Year, Equestrian Event of the Year, Club of the Year, Administrator of the Year and Young Athlete of the Year.
The next Awards Night, being held on 2 May 2012, promises to be bigger and better then ever and Equestrian Australia are giving away two tickets (valued at $300) to this exciting event!
