I hate the way they wreck my hair and look decidedly un-western, but all it takes is for you to lose your balance from a perfectly safe and quiet horse, which I like to think mine is, and if you land on your head it could be all over. There were plenty of horses featured, as legendary Australian actors - husband and wife - Bryan Brown and Rachel Ward saddled up and followed a stockman's trail through the harsh Australian outback. Donna Smith, Waikato, riding Sarah Varley’s Just Chocolate has taken the lead in the Bell Tea Super League following the second event in the series, the CIC3* (Advanced) class at the Woodhill Sands Horse Trials at the weekend.
