Lakes and Craters Three Day Event - Results

Published on Monday, December 10, 2012 in Event Results

The annual Lakes and Craters Three Day event was staged over the weekend attracting a record 291 entries in the 12 classes which were offered.

There was plenty of action to come out of the four days of competition and you can view full results here http://www.an-eventful-life.com.au/eventing-news/lakes-and-craters-three-day-event/lakes-and-craters-three-day-event

In an extraordinary turn of events, the sole competitor in the CCI3* event, Will Enzinger - who had two horses entered in the class, could not be declared the winner after he withdrew one entry after cross country and was eliminated on the second after completing the wrong showjumping course.

Benjamin Leahy faired better in the CIC3* winning with Le Directeur. Four competitors started in this class but Leahy and his mount were the only combination to progress through to the show jumping phase.

The CCI2* was won by Katie Roots and Tevalgar II, their strong dressage score of 44.2 making them convincing winners of this class.

Big name riders Amanda Ross and Megan Jones dominated the top placings in the CCI1*, both finishing on their dressage scores.

Congratulations to all winners.
