Must have! A Kerranna Stockhorses Foal

Published on Friday, February 4, 2011 in 2011 Queensland Floods

Generous Amanda Hart from Kerranna Stockhorses, located in Hall ACT, is very keen to help raise funds for the equestrian community effected by the floods.  Amanda has made it virtually impossible to resist getting a foal by her lovely Australian Stock Horse stallion, Kerranna Aritjuda, or one of the other Kerranna Stockhorses stallions.

Not only has Amanda donated two services (live cover or chilled semen) to the Horsezone Stallion Service Auction, for the now almost national flood appeal, but she has offered extra incentives, including the option of using one of her mares if you do not have a suitable mare but would still love a foal!

Purchasers of either of the two Flood Relief Stallion Service Auction services to Kerranna Aritjuda are also offered:

  • Option to choose a foal from the Kerranna Stockhorse 2011 foal drop.  Stallions represented include:

- Kerranna Aritjuda (ASH)

-  Hightop Park Playboy (ASH/ANSA)

-  Time to Celebrate (ASH/ASB/ANSA)

  • Use of a Kerranna Stockhorse ASH broodmare in the event the service purchaser does not have a mare (maintenance charge of $50 per month for the duration of the pregnancy until foal pickup)
  • Full payment by Kerranna Stockhorses of ASH National 3 Year Old Futurity fees for Stud Book or 2 x registered progeny (progeny to be ASH registered no later than 1 August following the year of its birth)
  • A discount of 20% for each of one or more additional mares booked in to Kerranna Aritjuda during the 2011/12 breeding season

Kerranna Aritjuda foals have great temperaments, attitude and conformation and have been successfully shown in hand (his oldest progeny are 2007 foals).  'Juda has a pedigree second to none, including the following influential performance sires:

  • Ophir Reflex - champion and sire of champion performance and show horses
  •  Rivoli Ray - immortal ASH impact sire Scrumlo Victory - sire of champions in all disciplines including Ophir Glitter (2002 Warwick Gold Cup winner)!
  • Oaks Banjo/Oaks Musicman - 2006 Warwick Stallion Draft winner & sire of champion performance and show horses
  • Docs Freckles Oak - inducted in the NCHA Hall of Fame in 1995 and the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2000
  • Star Black Minstril - legendary ASH foundation sire of performance horses in all disciplines.
