New Innovative Keiffer Dressage Saddle 'CDI' Designed in Australia

Published on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in General

Collaboration over the last 12 months between the Managing Director of Toptac International, Manfred Dobrow, a former Grand Prix dressage rider together with our sponsored riders, and Kieffer’s Master saddlers in Germany has resulted in the development of an extraordinary new saddle.

This is the first ever Kieffer saddle for Australia that has been designed from scratch.

Manfred explains, ‘The innovative design features include a mono-flap with short panels, cut back at the point of the shoulder, to allow maximum freedom of movement.  The panel does not continue under the anatomically designed knee pads, giving a truly close contact riding experience. The seat is of a medium depth, making it especially comfortable for riders who experience back pain.’

Holger Weissenberg, Export Manager for Kieffer Germany, remarks, ‘It is fantastic to work so closely with Toptac International to provide the Australian market with such a superb product.’

The Kieffer CDI has just arrived from Germany and is available exclusively for $5495 from authorised Kieffer retailers in Australia and New Zealand; these stores can be located from the Toptac website www.toptac.com.au.

Traditional German workmanship coupled with great adaptability, have made Kieffer saddles a favourite with saddle fitters to suit the modern Warmblood horse.  Providing extraordinary comfort combined with support for the rider, Kieffer is the saddle of choice to many of the best trainers and riders world-wide.

Toptac International Ltd was established in 1996, a boutique wholesaler, managing leading and innovative brands from around the world, such as Kieffer, Breyer, ELT, Supreme Products and EzyRide. Andrew Mason, Executive Manager, explains, ‘Our Executive management team has extensive equestrian experience and we pride ourselves on personally testing and evaluating all of our products.’
