Polly Stockton's Westwood Poser Killed on Road

Horse and Hound has reported that British event rider Polly Stockton is mourning the loss of her top ride, Westwood Poser, who has died in a freak accident.

The Master Imp gelding, who was runner-up at Burghley in 2009, got out of the horse-walker at his co-owner’s yard in Ireland on 14 February and galloped on to the road, where he was hit by a lorry. “Mossie” died instantly.
