The CIC Queensland State Eventing Championships will be held at the Fig Tree Pocket Equestrian Club, the home of Brisbane Eventing on 4-5 October 2014.

Hosted by the Fig Tree Pocket Committee, preparation for the FEI event is well underway.  An anticipated 200 plus entries and over 600 visitors per day are expected for this prestigious event with over $12,000.00 in prizes on offer.

The State Eventing Championships is a competition that consists of three equestrian disciplines; dressage, showjumping and cross country jumping. It is designed to test the courage, determination and all round ability of the rider, as well as the training and conditioning of the horse.

Riders will be competing in classes from Introductory (80cm) right through to CIC 2* (125cm) and we expect the *classes to be hotly contested with locals competing plus professional riders and past Olympians.

Entry is free and spectators are encouraged to come along and support young and exciting upcoming riders who may be the Equestrian stars of the future.  There are raffles and a canteen selling hot and cold food plus drinks and home baked goodies and the committee invites all to come along and enjoy a weekend of competition.

FTP Equestrian club are very grateful to their sponsors and event partners, without their help clubs and events in Queensland would find it very difficult to continue to offer equestrian events.
