Sensational Selection of Stallions

Australia's generous horse community have pulled together with over 100 stallion services donated to be auctioned online at Horsezone.com.au starting at 6am Eastern Standard time on Monday 14 February.

The auction will end at 8pm Eastern Standard time on Friday 18 February so people have five days to secure their mare’s date for the 2011 breeding season. To bid on a service or the Australian Stock Horse mare Warregold Cindy, you must be registered with Horsezone and logged in. By submitting a bid you recognise that you agree with the terms outlined in the Bidders Agreement.

Among the highlights are services to the Grand Prix dressage stallions D’Dur from Revelwood Warmblood Stud and Ryans Horses’ Jive Magic and Regardez Moi.

Warmbloods are the most represented breed with over 25 sires featured and in addition to dressage stallions the jumping fraternity are represented by Vicky Roycroft’s Premier des Hayettes and Paula Hamood’s Glen Haven Agile.

Kirsty Ewens of Bella Equus Stud has donated services to both her stallions, Jaybee Leuwin and the gorgeous buckskin Jaybee Apache. Black Swan Friesians have donated a service to their stunning stallion Hotse (pictured above left).

Australian Stock Horses are also making their mark with stallions featuring great working bloodlines including Warrenbri Regal, Warregold Coolibah Spirit, Kerranna Aritjuda and Rodvale Fair Dinkum, not forgetting the beautiful and well performed Ilalong Talisman and Win D Fortitude, while cremello Goldmine Illusion demonstrates the versatility of Australian Stock Horses.

Quarter Horses are not to be out done with the cutting bred sires Bullunbud Players Dandyboy, Sans Spinifex and Max O Roy (a stunning palomino who also excels at dressage) and handsome young reining stallion Starbar Tass Oakie.

The coloured breeds are out and proud with Appaloosa stallions Cayuse Blizzard O Lena and Yallawa Timeless Dream; Sportaloosa stallion Cayuse Chatta Lena and the loudly coloured leopard Knabstrupper, Lori’s Flashpoint Af Lyn (imp) providing a great choice of spotted sires.  On the Paint front there’s Colorite Cougar Boy and Ne

wstead Park Gold Rush, whilst pony Windsong Celtic Clansman and Gypsy Cobs, Bohun The Fortune Teller and Wimballan Harker’s Geordie represent the Pintos.  There are palominos and other dilute colours represented in amongst several other breeds on offer.

Also featured are services to sires representing Andalusians, Anglo Arabs, Arabians, Cleveland Bays, Clydesdales, Fresians, Hanoverians, Irish Sport Horses, Riding Ponies, Thoroughbreds and Welsh Ponies.
