How It All Began...

35 years ago Frank and Maria Robank wanted to start a company with the sole purpose of servicing the agricultural industry, so in 1978 they formed Robank Feeds in the heart of horse country at Ebenezer. From humble beginnings in a small tin shed with one employee, Frank and Maria began their dream with a single thought – to build their business based on quality and service. As the years went on, Robanks grew and as the market changed demanding more variety they listened, expanding their stock to cater for the growing equine market.

1990 saw the implementation of the own on-site mixing facility, giving Robank the ability to source and blend customised feeds and give greater quality control for the equine industry. Coupled with continual growth this then started the wholesale division.

In 2002 decisions were made to separate the wholesale/manufacturing division (Robanks) with the retail division, which resulted in the birth of Sydney Equestrian Supplies. Since its establishment Sydney Equestrian Supplies has gone from strength to strength with over 20 employees and a delivery service that is the envy of competitors.

To this day Sydney Equestrian Supplies and Robank Feeds continue Frank and Maria’s original dream of providing service and quality to the agricultural industry, still from the heart of horse country - though the shed is a lot bigger now!
