Sydney CDI*** begins this week

Australia's most prestigious international dressage competition, the Sydney CDI***, is set to begin at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) this Wednesday, April 6. 

Tickets can still be purchased online for the event, which attracts top dressage riders from around Australia to compete for more than $40,000 in prize money.

This year's event is the last chance local riders will have to qualify for the Rio Olympic games on home soil, making for  an exciting showdown of the nation's best Australian-based horse and rider combinations.

The Sydney CDI*** will also see judges travel from around the world to officiate, including Rio judge Maribel Alonso-Quinzanos from Mexico (FEI 5* Judge), and fellow Rio Grand Jury member and Olympic Judge, Gary Rockwell from the USA (FEI 5* Judge).

A special showjumping spectacular and the ever-popular dressage Grand Prix Freestyle to music are features of theSaturday night, with limited tickets still available.

The event will also include a huge trade and shopping village, first class entertainment and viewing at the Top Spot Marquee for premium ticket holders, merchandise, school and club educational tours, food and bar area.
