Totilas Foal Sells for €200,000

A foal by legendary dressage stallion Totilas, sold at the 2012 Oldenburg autumn elite auction in Vechta, Germany, has equalled the foal auction price record, reports Horse and Hound.

The colt, Total Recall, who is by Totilas out of a Sandro Hit/Figaro mare, equalled the record when he went under the hammer for €200,000.

Totilas' owners Paul Schockemohle and Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff were in a lengthy bidding war with American Jamie White-Welling — who is married to Smallville actor Tom Welling - but the high-profile syndicate's bid was enough to secure the bay colt.
