Uwe Spenlen Returns to Judge in Australia - 2013 Hamag Victorian Young Rider Championships

Equestrian Victoria is pleased to announce that Uwe Spenlen (GER) will be our international guestjudge at the 2013 Hamag Victorian Young Rider Championships.

Uwe Spenlen is a retired FEI (I) Dressage judge who had judged CDI***- CDI-W allaround the world. He was a judge for the prestigious FEI Samsung Cup (now FEI World Dressage Challenge) in Central and South America, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In the United States he was involved in the final selection trials for the Atlanta Olympics. In Germany, he has judged at any major top event such as Aachen CDIO, German Dressage Derby at Hamburg and European Championships for JUN/YR. He is the event director for the European Youngster Classics Bonn, a CDI JYP.

Uwe has a passion for educating young riders and is well-known for the clarity he brings to judging dressage, his emphasis on the Training Scale as well as the focus on quality.

We are excited to welcome Uwe Spenlen back to Australia to judge. His knowledge and expertise will no doubt be an asset to the education of our Young Riders in Victoria.
