Voting for the NZ Showing Awards Now Open

 

New Zealand showing identity Elizabeth Charleston is calling for votes for the NZ Showing Awards for the past season. 

The awards dinner is to be held on Saturday 5 May at the O'Sullivan family's The Red Barn in Tirau.

YOU ACCEPT THESE CONDITIONS UPON SIGNING THE VOTING PAPER

!READ THE VOTING CONDITIONS BELOW!

 

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE IN THE SHOWING AWARDS YOU MUST HAVE EITHER:

 

*Competed at a showing event as a rider or handler in the current season.

*Officiated at a showing event (IE: Judge, steward, secretary, show committee member) in the current season.

*Be an owner/producer of a Showing Horse/Pony that has competed at a showing event in the current season.

   

PLEASE TICK ALL OF YOUR APPLICABLE VOTING TITLES:

 

SHOWING COMPETITOR (RIDER OR HANDLER)
SHOW OFFICIAL OR SHOWING JUDGE
SHOW HORSE OWNER/PRODUCER

 

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A VOTE IN THE SHOWING AWARDS:

To be eligible to receive a vote in a section for THE SHOWING AWARDS a horse/rider/official (etc) must have competed or officiated at a showing event in the current show season in New Zealand.

 

*Please write in the available box your choice of horse, rider or official (etc) that you wish to vote for. Please print clearly on the Voting Paper!

 

*Only write ONE name per section/award.

 

*If ‘Rider’ of mount is not known the ‘Owner’ or the name of ‘Showing Team’ may be used.

 

*Please do not vote for Elizabeth Charleston (or my parents Don & Jocelyn) or NZES in any sections.  I’m putting these awards on for YOU.

 

*NZ HOY & NZ HOY officials may receive votes in the various sections/awards with the exception of Elizabeth & Jocelyn Charleston.

*Only ONE Voting Paper per voter.

 

 *No SPAM/BULK voting will be accepted – it will be discarded.

 

*The voter signing the voting paper MUST fill in the voting paper.

 

*Voting MUST be on an official Voting Paper.

 

*The voting paper will not be counted unless the name of the voter & their signature is filled out on the Voting Paper.

 

*No nicknames for horses, riders or officials – the person counting the votes is not a horse person and does not know paddock/pet names in the showing world in New Zealand. 

 

*Please vote for the horse or person you think is most deserving of the title – not just because it your horse/rider or that of your best friend.

 

*NZES & The Showing Awards are NOT affiliated with NZ R.A.S

 

*Any abuse of the voting system will result in the offending Voting Paper/s being discarded

 

*Debutante Horse/Pony of the Season: not to have shown under saddle prior to current season.

 

*Best Dressed Rider of the Season: Formal, BLING, Hunter, whatever J

 

*Most Popular Horse/Pony of the Season:  Success, personality, just because you love the horse/pony, whatever J

 

*CURRENT SEASON means the NZ 2011/2012 Show Season
