Isle of Rodrigo is a 16.2hh 11 year old Holsteiner gelding by Isle of Wight stud. Rod is an extremely eye catching, big moving, beautiful tempered horse with an adorable personality. He has a rocking chair canter with push button flying changes, established shoulder in and counter canter. He is extremely bold, never refusing, and is consistently competing 1.30m successfully with scope to go higher. Multiple placings and wins at agriculture shows, Aus Champs and interschools. Rod is a very chilled horse who is super easy to catch/ shoe/ worm/ wash/ float/ truck/ clip/ tie up/ lunge etc and is fine to seperate from others. Perfect to trial ride, alone or in groups. Not phased by indoor arenas or farm machinary due to daily exposure to motorbikes, tractors, mowers etc. Same horse whether ridden 6 days a week or after a month off.
