ULTIMATE SHOWJUMPING SCHOOLMASTER
Bailey (Raced as Magambo) 16hh 18yo thoroughbred gelding.
Bailey is currently schooling 80cm, and has previously showjumped up to 110cm. He recently competed at Mt Duneed horse trials & went clear in showjumping and cross country.
Bailey can get a bit tense at events, and can get quite strong on cross country, so isn’t suitable for a beginner or nervous riders. He loves to jump, so we’d love to see him go to a showjumping home.
He has a lovely floating trot, and a fabulous, comfortable canter. He has basic laterals established, can turn on a dime, and is a fairly straightforward ride.
He is great to shoe, self loads on the float, is very respectful on the ground, and will stand in the cross ties all day.
He’s been on trails with us and has seen cows, goats, sheep, alpacas, cars, trucks, tractors, bikes, and kids. We have also taken him to Elcho Park for some cross country schooling and he was happy to pop over everything without any problems. Ditches, drops, waters, corners, ‘spooky’ jumps don’t bother him.
Bailey is priced realistically at $4999. Located in Lovely Banks, VIC.
