Whiskey bay 6yr TB 16hh gelding all rounder

Whiskey was raced once and quit for being too slow. I have had him sense he was 3 and have done all his re-educating. He is a in your face friendly follow you around kind of horse. Has been one of my main horses to ride for the last 2 years and we have gone to many adult riding club days including -dressage lesson -jumping lesson -cross country course. Whiskey has been on many different trail rides with big clubs and small groups including a trail boss course he take 5-10 mins to settle into the big groups of 20+ horses but is great straight out the gate with smaller groups. He loves jumping especially out on the trial rides. He is a great all rounder and has been to the beach and in the water, isn’t much of a swimmer but loved riding through the sand dunes and along the shore. Whiskey may hesitate sometimes but he can be convinced to try anything as he is so willing to please! I haven’t found anything he won’t give a go. Great with traffic and has been out to the farm and near the big mobs of sheep without fuss. Whiskey camps well in electric tape or yards, floats perfect on either and is the easiest bloke to do anything with. He has amazing patience for a thoroughbred and has the best comfiest walk trot canter I’ve ever ridden. Can be ridden out alone but needs a more motivated ride so he doesn’t look back for his friends and is great in company and will sit anywhere in the group but loves to just follow along. Doesn’t prance and you do need to kick and can wear spurs to ride. Genuine reason for selling, do not have the land or water to keep him over summer when I won’t be able to feed them all daily. Selling in work getting ridden about once a week at the moment hoping to sell before I stop riding.

Suit intermediate - experienced rider

A beginner could definitely ride him happily in a round yard or paddock as he is not forward moving but I wont sell to beginners. His trial riding horse buddy a bay stb my husband rides is also for sale and they can be sold in a package deal.
