Experienced Competitive 1* Eventer/Showjumper

Very good-looking 16hh thoroughbred gelding. Sunny has been largely in and out of work since 2020, as I haven't been able to bring myself to sell him. The most respectful, willing, trainable, trusting and forgiving horse I have ever ridden, this horse took me from 60cm to 1* eventing over the course of two years. Competed 1* regularly in 2019 however due to COVID and university commitments, I've been unable to give him the time he deserves, and have finally decided that he is too good a horse to let sit in the paddock as I am going on exchange next semester. Sunny has never had any soundness issues, has merely been in the paddock as I was too attached to let him go. 

Sunny would be perfect for a rider looking to move up the grades or be consistently competitve at the 1-1.10m level in showjumping or eventing. Still has many years left in the tank and he's currently jumping 105cm rounds at home with ease. Extremely careful, agile jumper - never knocks poles. Eligible for equimillions. Notable results include winning the 1* at Silver Hills Horse Trials in 2019 and receiving Year 11 Champion at Oxley Interschools in 2019 after coming 1st and 2nd in his two Novice dressage tests and 1st in both 105cm showjumping rounds.

Well-educated on the flat, established elementary movements. Doesn't have the flashiest trot but his walk and canter make up for it. Very experienced and confident with all types of cross country jumps. No vices, extremely safe - he is truly always looking out for his rider. Good to float, shoe, worm etc. Gets along well with other horses. Will only be sold to the best of homes. Always sound. Negotiable to the right home.
