Lexi retired from racing in 2018 after 4 starts before being professionally retrained for pony club and showing. A true allrounder, she also has a background in eventing!

2022, Lexi competed at Friends of Werribee in the 80cm eventing and has been training EV95. She has also been to pony club rallies. At shows, Lexi can be a little anxious at first but settles well with reassurance. She is very brave on cross country and tries super hard, although she can start off a little tense before she's into the job. Don't let these things put you off though, with further training and a confident rider, Lexi will be an outstanding little competitor!

Lexi is a really attractive little horse with a pretty face, and a very elegant, athletic type. She has expressive paces with an active walk, big swingy trot with excellent ground cover and a HUGE stride length in canter for a horse of her size!

On the flat, Lexi is forward moving, but happy to slow down when asked. She is generally responsive and has a good foundation of flat basics although she could use some work on responding to a lighter half-halt as she can become a little set in the hand sometimes She is relatively supple although still falls in a little one way. She is steady in the contact and currently learning about maintaining independent rhythm so you can soften the reins with no change in tempo.
