Irish bred TB 7yo 16.3hh chestnut gelding by Footstepsinthesand.

Wonton was sold to Hong Kong as a yearling but did not race.
A minor injury Sept 2020 meant he was sent to EventStars NZ to rehab.
I bought him as a 4yo and he has been professionally ridden and schooled for the last two seasons.

Wonton is an absolute dude with a bright future ahead of him.
He has 3 quality paces with loads of presence.
He has a careful athletic jump and is show jumping to 1.25 consistently.

Wonton has done 2 x-country training days and was bold and keen.
He recently competed at Wairarapa Horse Trials jumping clear in x country and show jumping and finishing a strong 9th.
He covers the ground beautifully and loves his job.
He has huge potential to make a successful eventer.

ADD: Wonton competed at the Bruce Forbes Horse Trials in early January. He finished in 5th place in the 95cm after a beautiful clear x county.

He has been very well schooled on the flat with flying changes etc.

He is good to shoe, float, truck and has been hacked on farm and the beach.
