Lewis - Volando Alto

Lewis is a 13 year old 16.1hh TB gelding. He is unraced and untrialled.

Lew is a very sweet natured boy that will always greet you in the paddock. He has no bite, buck, rear or bolt. He is great to clip, wash, float and worm. He has more woah than go, so will need a rider that isn’t scared to give him a tap with the whip.

Lewis loves to jump. He competed up to grade 3 eventing and trained up to 1m show jumping with his previous owner. Due to a couple injuries, he spent the previous 12 months off ridden work, but he has been vet checked and is 100% sound now and ready to be back out competing. Happy to discuss this further.

Although he is surrounded by machinery, he can get slightly sensitive to noise. A confident handler is all he requires, someone that he can trust. When you have his trust, you can do anything with him.

He is currently in light work. He has been to numerous competitions in the last 6 weeks and has placed in both ODE’s and scores in the high 60s/low 70s in his dressage tests. He has well established dressage movements, but just needs someone who is willing to work with him to bring out his full potential. He can also be ridden bareback with ease. Lewis is the perfect allrounder.

Lewis is a very special horse, so it is a very hard sale. I would keep him if I had the time. Please no time wasters.
