Mapping is an 11yo brown TB gelding by Henrythenavigator.  We trained Mapping at Pateman Racing for the last 5 years of his racing career.  He was always a sound reliable member of our team and he is proving to be the same as an equestrian horse.  At his second ever show he competed at the Summer Showjumping Classic in Sydney and jumped some great rounds around the 90cm events, jumping water trays and all of the spooky fill straight up.  He has since gone on to jump at a handful of shows at varying Victorian venues, jumping up to 95-1m.  He has taken to it like a duck to water, he is however still a somewhat green competitor.   He does very consistent flying changes on course and is also quite good at them in his flat work.  

He has done plenty of work at the beach and in the bush and is safe on roads and trails.  He has good basic flat work and has cross country schooled on numerous occasions. 

Easy to do everything with.  He is a smart, brave and careful jumper.   He had 30 odd jumps racing starts and always looked after his jockeys. 

Would suit a competent amateur rider or a strong junior who is looking for a greener horse to learn to produce through the grades.   Once established he will be very fast against the clock.  We can't wait to see someone get as much enjoyment out of this horse as he has given us both on and off the track.
