"Urban Prince" is a 12yo, 16.2 hh, brown TB Gelding. Retired sound from racing and has been with me ever since.

"Urbie" as he is affectionately known, has the most quiet and beautiful, gentle nature. He is soft and consistent in the contact, with 3 very comfortable and elevated paces. He will jump anything you point him at, and is generally careful and brave. Has competed up to 90cm and training bigger at home.  He's great out on trails, and has done many miles mustering cattle on our farm with no problems. He never gets hot, jig joggy or silly in any way.

He is genuinely quiet and honest, he has never had so much as pig root let along any nasties like buck/rear/bolt. I've had several beginners on him with no issues. He's not over reactive or sensitive, however when he has a rider on who knows how to ask for more he's willing to perform. He's the same horse whether he's in work 7 days a week or has had 3 months off.

He's friendly and well behaved, easy to handle and always the first to meet you in the paddock. He's currently paddocked with my mare who has a 4 month old foal on her and is getting along with them both with no issues. He'd make a wonderful nanny gelding for anyone who needs one.

Unfortunately, Urbie is for sale as he is no longer able to travel safely. We are unsure why he has developed this stress issue associated with travelling, but he stresses himself out and scrambles when on board to the point he takes skin off and creates a situation that is unsafe for himself. We have tried every possible option to fix this problem and have been unsuccessful in our ventures, and I am happy to discuss this further with potential buyers. I have had vets and trainers involved, as well as trying several different floats/trucks/driving methods etc. He is unable to travel to competitions/clinics/lessons etc, and he will not be sold to someone who thinks they can fix this issue. He is only suitable for someone who wants a genuinely safe, quiet and very well educated mount for at home riding, and unfortunately I do not have the time to ride him.

He is able to stay in my paddock to retire or be a nanny to our foals, however I feel like he's wasting there. Unfortunately the floating issue makes him unsuitable for me as I want to compete, however I am sure there is someone who would absolutely enjoy him and learn a lot. He is absolutely beautiful to ride and so easy to have around.

The price of $1500 does not reflect his quality, rather the travelling issue he comes with. A good home is more important than price. Contact Alyssa on 0423342198. Located Mount Vincent NSW. I have more photos available of him, but no video footage at this stage. I will arrange appropriate precautions for him and possibly travel him myself as well to his new home if I am able to.
