Rocky would suit an intermediate or experienced rider that loves to jump just as much as he does or someone that is just starting to jump and wants to build their confidence. He would be the perfect horse for someone that has just started jumping under 95cm. He has that willing to jump anything attitude. He would also make a good horse to just jump on and plod around on.

He has been to dressage comps and xc clinics showing good potential in both. Would make good eventer for someone thats willing to put in the work and to take him further. Rocky is currently competing up to 95cm with a lot of potential to go further. We have been training 1m to 1.20m courses at home and have jumped a single 1.45m jump.

At shows he really gives it his all and is fairly easy at shows. We jump and compete in a hackamore just because he’s pretty easy to bring back and i can trust him. We do use a bridle with a bit for flatwork often. He has no issues with a bit, just personal preference.

I have had Rocky for 2 years and i am his 3rd owner. He stopped racing and was sold at 3years and i bought him when he was 6years. Rocky has only had 16 starts.

I have taken him on trails through the bush alone and as well as busy roads and beaches and he has been fine. He is easy to shoe. 
At the moment he just has the front shoes on.

Since being with me he has formed a splint from a knock year ago but hasn’t bothered him or been lame. He has been happily competing without any lameness or any sign of lameness at all. He also has cellulitis on his leg which also doesn’t affect performance

Rocky is in work and is competing monthly. He would make a great confidence builder horse for someone or for someone that loves to get out and compete.
