A lovely natured 12yo, 16.3+ bay TB gelding.  Scotty has competed to EvA95 eventing with huge scope for more, training easily over 1/2* fences.  Scotty has also competed 115m showjumping and is currently training elementary dressage.  Scotty has all the ingredients to make a top level event horse, at EvA95 he really is just scratching the surface of his potential.   He absolutely loves to jump and is a reliable, super brave cross country ride that has never once had a cross country jumping fault.  He has a big ground covering stride - making time is certainly not an issue for him.  Great through water, over ditches, banks etc.  Scotty also has a big floating trot and balanced canter, showing a nice ability to collect in his dressage work.  He is confidently training elementary, established in his laterals, walk to canter, leg yield, shoulder in etc.

Scotty raced as ‘Skygge’ and is eligible for Equimillion + all OTT classes and prizes.  He was purchased OTT from a high level showjumping family who loved his quiet, trainable nature and saw great jumping potential in him.  The current owners have done a wonderful job bringing him on with plenty of professional guidance - which has made for a sensible, well mannered horse that is easy to handle, s/f/c etc.  

Although we feel Scotty’s talent lies with eventing, he would also make a lovely all rounder, pure show jumper or dressage horse.  Scotty is sweet natured and generally easy to do everything with.  He is sensible and more woah than go when training at home, but does need an experienced rider as he is a big boy and can occasionally be exuberant with his jumping.  Nothing a confident rider could not handle.

He has been ridden and brought on by a young rider who is now starting uni and moving on from riding.  Scotty is adored by his owners and this is a difficult sale so no time wasters please.

Scotty is a super fun horse that will make a competitive performance mount for a keen rider or equally a great all rounder for someone wanting to do a bit of everything.
