French bred gelding by Siyouni out of Pertinence (Fasliyev)
Approx 16.1hh. Born 27/06/2017.
Poor Hero had a run of foot abscesses since arriving to Australia, so he did have a good 12 months off. This definitely did him the world of good, as he is a bit of an immature type, and will just get better with time and work. 3 beautiful paces. Laid back attitude, and a very smart, quick learner.
He'd be great for a keen/confident Teenager looking for a smart horse to bring on for Interschools and beyond. Or Adult rider, wanting a cruisy large hack, for a bit of everything.
Great jump, very bold. Has done plenty of miles hacking out alone and in company. Musters the cows alone, although wasn't sure what a dairy cow was at first!
One club foot unfortunately, which we've had no issues with, but our farrier said, although not nice to look at, the underneath hoof is really good. He also has been a bit itchy in Northern NSW, but this has been very manageable. He probably would prefer a home away from the coast.
Free of Kissing Spines as we have xrayed him. Full veterinary history available from HK. We haven't found any nasties, but he is still a green OTT, so no inexperienced riders. I think he'd start handling going out for training days etc. He has moments of OMG this is a super nice horse, so in the right hand I think he'll be very special. VERY realistically priced, due to the time of year and large horse numbers to rehome.
