Murphy is a grade 3/EvA80 schoolmaster and prefers to jump 1m and below. He came to me when I was 15 as my first OTTB to reeducate. He has attended many lessons, pony club days, competitions and has been to the beach.  Murphy’s strongest phase is dressage, always scoring high 60s or 70s.

- HPRC winter woollies dressage 2: preliminary 1.2, 1st (68.04%) and preliminary 1.3, 1st (70%)

- HPRC winter woollies dressage overall pony club grade 3 junior champion

- HPRC ode 2023 (grade 4): 1st (82.50% dressage)

- H&D ode 2023 (grade 3): 4th (75.94% dressage)

- H&D ode 2023 (grade 3): 3rd (69.69% dressage)

- Quercus 2DE 2024 (EvA80): 2nd

- Tasmanian State Showjumping Titles 2023 (70cm championship): 1st

- PCT State Trials 2024 (grade 3 junior): 1st out of 34 riders (67.97% dressage)

- Tas Eventing champs Quercus 2024 (EvA80): 2nd (75.31% dressage)

- PCT State dressage champs 2024 (grade 3 junior): preliminary 1.2, 6th (69.2%) and preliminary 1.3, 3rd (73.13%). Overall 3rd place out of 36 riders and champion Off The Track.

- PCT State showjumping champs 2024 (grade 3 junior): 10th out of 35 riders.

Murphy never fails to pick up compliments wherever he goes. He is quiet and can be jumped on bareback after weeks off. His best competition results have come when in consistent work which I can unfortunately no longer give him do to year 12 commitments. He is suited to a competent young rider ready for their first big horse or even an adult rider wanting a safe and quiet ride. He is ridden in a snaffle in all phases and has no buck/bolt/rear. Murphy is good to catch, clip, worm, shoe, etc. He is good to float (angle or straight or truck). Very regretful sale as he means the world to me, however I do not have time he deserves being in grade 12. Located Kingston, Tasmania.
