Valanda (Henry) is a retired racehorse with “More Than Ready” bloodlines. He is currently in work at our Racing NSW (Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Trust) retraining facility in Taree. Valanda (Henry) is a quiet, lovable and sweet natured Thoroughbred. He is well put together with lovely strong movement and a loping canter. He would make for a wonderful companion and trail riding horse. He would need a confidant intermediate rider to bring out the best in him. Why buy from us? Through the Racing NSW retraining program, we offer after sales support for anyone who rehomes one of our retired racehorses. Our goal is to rehome our retired horses to a suitable environment and a compatible new owner. We do have many lovely thoroughbreds in work with us, so if Valanda (Henry) is not the horse for you but you are looking for a new companion please contact Karen at nswtrt@racingnsw.com.au or 0418 206 335 for more information on all of our horses. Videos are available on request. All our horses are up to date with worming, vaccinations and dental. Level 1 – Training includes ground work, work in hand and lunging. Level 2 – Training includes commencing under saddle learning contact and maintaining a frame in walk and trot Level 3 – Training includes maintaining rhythm and tempo during canter, transitions up and down and picking up correct leads.
